Andrew Mcclain

Andrew McClain was born to the late James McClain and Christina Davis McClain on January 9, 1958

     In Mullins SC,  he transitioned into eternal rest on September 4, 2022, at MUSC in Mullins, SC. Andrew attended Mullins High School where he graduated from in 1979.  He enjoyed fishing and anything mechanical- cars, lawn movers, you name it – if it had a motor, he took it apart and put it back together. He was also known as a joker, loved talking junk. He also worked at various warehouses in South and North Carolina.

     Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Lenue Frieson, James L. McKiever, Ernest and LC McClain. Sister Gracie Davis, sister- in- law Betty McClain, and niece and nephew LeGrant and Sandra Frieson, who he was raised in the house with him like brothers and sister. Also proceeding him in death is the love of his life Cynthia “Wimpy” Legette

Andrew leaves to mourn his precious memory, his children Andrew Jr. (Edna Taylor) of North Carolina, Cedric Legette of Ashville North Carolina, and Ashley Legette of Mullins. 6 grandchildren, 2 Sisters; Edna Smith and Elizabeth Swinton of Mullins. 4 brothers: Wille, Roosevelt, Albert, McClain of Mullins, and Charles McClain of Ashville NC. Along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
